Ashley Weber, owner of Breath & Anchor, specializes in personal, private yoga & Pilates sessions. Private sessions offer two great benefits; they offer an efficient way to address your goals and work on areas of individual interest. Private sessions are an investment in self-care not only to deepen ones practice but to gain confidence in both Yoga and Pilates.
Breath & Body provides a variety of Pilates equipment (such as the Reformer, Pilates chair and spine corrector) which will build strength through spring resistance, that will challenge muscular engagement safely and effectively.
Ashley is dedicated to her clients and their success in cultivating body awareness, as injury prevention, and core strength to enhance athletic performance. She has grown a long-term client base in the South Austin, TX, area for over 11 years and hopes to grow with future clients to come.

Ashley is a big believer that the issues are in the tissues and was first attracted to Pilates for its rehabilitative properties. She first took a Pilates class as a teenager with her mother as it benefited in healing her mom’s back pain. Impressed by Pilates ability to heal, Ashley knew she wanted a future career in the field. She first studied Pilates with Wendy LeBlanc Arbuckle at the Pilates Center of Austin. In 2006, she completed Wendy’s Core Connections Pilates 650 hour Certification program. Ashley has taught Pilates since 2006 and has studied yoga since 2009. She has cultivated an intuitive teaching style as a unique blend of both Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Meditation and Pilates.
Ashley’s yoga career began a few years later in 2009 when she regularly attended yoga classes for stress relief and the calming effects yoga has on the nervous system. In January 2016, Ashley completed her 200 hour Hatha Yoga Certification, from Yoga Yoga, led by Rachel Hector. She later completed the Yin Yoga Advanced Teacher Training led by Jenn Wooten and Laura Forsyth.
Ashley has a genuine curiosity for functional movement and how it relates to health and considers herself a lifetime student of learning about the mind body connection. Ashley has taught full time for over ten years at numerous studios in Austin, TX including Mecca Gym & Spa, University of Texas at Austin, Apple, Pilates 360, and in home private sessions.
